TRX was trading around $0.335 on October 5, keeping the token close to the range it had occupied for much of September. Daily closing prices largely remained between $0.325 and $0.345 during the month.
CoinGecko data places TRX’s circulating market value at approximately $31.8 billion. Meanwhile, DeFiLlama reports around $95.8 billion worth of stablecoins on the TRON blockchain.
The two figures represent very different things. The stablecoin figure reflects the amount of stablecoins issued on TRON and does not represent capital flowing directly into TRX.
TRON remains one of the main networks used for USDT transfers. A report covering the second quarter recorded roughly $2.1 trillion in USDT transfer volume on the network.
That figure represents the total value moved across transactions. It does not mean $2.1 trillion of fresh capital entered TRON. The same USDT can change hands multiple times without requiring an equivalent amount of TRX purchases.
TRX is used to obtain network resources such as energy and bandwidth through staking. Users can also burn TRX to cover transaction fees, while some wallets have introduced options that allow fees to be paid using USDT.
TRX ETF Activity Remains Limited
The Canary Staked TRX ETF, trading under the ticker TRXS, launched on September 9. The product is designed to provide exposure to TRX while generating staking rewards.
The ETF started with 2.01 million shares outstanding. That figure rose to 2.03 million by September 15 and remained at that level in every reported update through October 2.

Net assets were approximately $50.23 million on October 2, compared with $50.26 million on September 16. The fund therefore represented around 0.158% of TRX’s market value.
TRON DAO also participated in a Cboe closing bell event on September 29 to mark the ETF launch. For the fund, a sustained increase in shares outstanding would provide a clearer indication of new investor demand.
TRONSCAN data indicates that TRX supply increased at an average annual rate of 0.31% between August 30, 2025, and October 3, 2026. The daily supply figure changes according to the balance between newly created and burned tokens.
On September 9 alone, approximately 3.91 million TRX were created while around 2.58 million were burned. The result was a net supply increase of roughly 1.33 million TRX.
Key TRX Price Levels
From the current level of $0.335, TRX would need to gain about 13.4% to reach $0.38. A move to $0.40 would require approximately 19.4%, taking the circulating market value of TRX to around $38 billion.

A sustained move above $0.35, particularly if supported by stronger trading volume, could signal that TRX is breaking out of its recent range. Conversely, a failed breakout followed by a close below $0.32 would weaken that setup.
On the lower side, $0.31 is about 7.5% below the current price, while $0.29 represents a decline of roughly 13.4%. A bearish move toward those levels would likely require TRX to remain below the $0.32–$0.325 region.
If October ends with TRX between $0.32 and $0.36, the token would effectively remain within the same narrow trading range seen recently.
Separately, U.S. authorities recently sanctioned seven TRON addresses. The action targets those specific addresses and does not represent a sanction against the TRON blockchain as a whole or against TRX trading.
