Hyperliquid (HYPE) has extended its impressive 2026 rally, climbing to a new all-time high of $83.27 earlier today. The native token of the Hyperliquid trading platform has delivered significant gains in recent months, supported by growing activity across the exchange and a broader recovery in the cryptocurrency market.
According to CoinGecko data, HYPE has gained 35.4% over the past seven days and is up 38.7% over the last month. With the token now trading close to the $100 milestone, investors are increasingly asking whether another major breakout could be on the horizon.
What Is Driving Hyperliquid’s Rally?
Hyperliquid has emerged as one of the strongest-performing crypto assets of the 2026 market cycle. Unlike many cryptocurrencies that struggled during periods of market weakness, HYPE continued establishing new highs as activity on its underlying platform expanded.

One factor behind the platform’s growing popularity has been increased demand for derivatives trading. During the early stages of the US-Iran conflict, traders turned to Hyperliquid to access oil-related futures markets. Its round-the-clock trading structure also gave it an advantage over traditional financial venues that operate within limited market hours.
More recently, HYPE received another boost following a cryptocurrency-focused event hosted by President Donald Trump at the White House. The event brought together prominent figures from the digital-asset industry and reinforced the administration’s pro-crypto position.
Trump also discussed the possibility of HyperLiquid entering the US market in a compliant manner. He said CFTC Chair Mike Selig was working toward bringing the platform into the United States “in a fully compliant and legal fashion.” The remarks generated renewed optimism among investors and helped propel HYPE to its latest record.
Could HYPE Reach $100?
The next major psychological target for Hyperliquid is $100. From its latest peak of $83.27, the token would need to gain roughly 20% to reach that milestone.

A US launch could potentially provide another catalyst for HYPE, particularly if Hyperliquid can secure a regulatory pathway that allows it to operate domestically. Continued growth in exchange activity could also support the token’s valuation.
However, reaching $100 is far from guaranteed. Regulatory uncertainty remains a key risk, and any delay or setback in a US launch could weigh on investor sentiment. After such a rapid advance, HYPE could also enter a period of consolidation or experience a deeper pullback.
The token has already retreated around 5% from its latest peak, while Bitcoin (BTC) has also cooled from approximately $79,000 to $77,000. If weakness spreads across the broader cryptocurrency market, Hyperliquid could face additional selling pressure.
For now, $100 remains a realistic but uncertain target. Whether HYPE can reach it may ultimately depend on continued platform growth, broader crypto-market conditions, and developments surrounding Hyperliquid’s potential US expansion.
